For normal 2 handed solve... di ko pinipilit like what kuya John told me sa Cebu Open... ginagawa ko yun kapag may oppurtunity

pero pag OH, xCross is a must. well...at least for me it is a must

natry ko na ung xcross from petrus method pero inabot me ng 8 sec.. mas mtagal compare sa xcross ko dati na 6 sec lng.. hmmm...

hirap siguro nun...

@ kingpsyzor : mas matagal xcross mo using "petrus"? anong klaseng xcross building po ba ginagamit nyo? ung 6 seconds lang? un po ba ung nd ka na bubuo ng 2x2x2 block? diretcho agad sa cross+1 f2l? wahehe..labo ng tanong ko..sana magets nyo..

@ jusay : baka ibig po nyang sabihin eh yung mga halimaw na magcube dito sa pca like superken jb canares pajodaep jerjerom jome jettyboy etc..

Uh, di naman nakakalito stickers ng nasa link.. actually dyan nga ako natuto na vid. petrus user ako and i use multi cros pero di pa pulido, okay din gumawa ng 2x2x2 tutorial, intuitive naman kasi un, superloo ahead in 15 sec preparation pwede mag 2x2x3 with xcross agad. hay...

waw 2x2x3 w/ cross? haha..super x cross na un.. well..ewan ko lang pero tingin ko baka masyado matagal ang pagbuo ng 2x2x3 w/ cross..mas sulit pa gumawa ng x cross tapos insert one f2l pair then another then another.. gawa ka din ng tuto for x cross! gusto ko manuod ng madaming tutorials eh..gusto ko po talaga malaman..what do you look for during inspection time? what part of the 2x2x2 block do you build first? then what? mga ganun ba.. ka kung tutuusin..kaya ko namang mag xcross pero MATAGAL..gusto ko makabuo ng x cross using minimal moves and of course minimal time..

Yan. Pero mahirap siya gamitin kasi it requires great look ahead. Kaya mas advisable ang simpleng xcross.

Medjo bumibilis na ko sa pagbuo ng xcross, pero hindi parin diretso. 2x2x2 block tapos yung 2 edges. Pero mukang makakatulong sakin to na makasub 20. Hehe.

wah..sana gumawa din ng tuto ung mga mamaw na magxcross..gusto ko kc ung detalyado..kung ano tumatakbo sa isip nila habang nagiinspect 4 15 seconds... wah sir JB CANARES! request naman ng video tuto ng x cross..

the fundamentals of xcross are in the petrus site.... learn petrus instead....if you want the basics of xcros..

on inspection time:
look for the first two steps of petrus... (2x2x2 and 2x2x3) pieces..

during 1st to 4th turns (on 2x2x2 building):
look ahead for optimum algs/solution for the 2x2x3 pieces...
you may prepare the 2x2x1 in preparation for the 2x2x3 while finishing the 2x2x2 on the 5th and 6th turns.. (2x2x2 requires 6 turns max)
do 2x2x2 under 4 sec..

then... execute the 2x2x3 WHILE inserting the last 2 edges for the double-cross (xcross) (on the f2l layer)... pwede ring while finishing 2x2x3 eh gumagawa ka na ng 2x2x1 para sa 3rd f2l pair... doing this male-lessen na sa 4 bad edges ang multi-cross mo... xcross is basically fixing multiple bad edges in petrus method...

then..finish fix the edges (xcross) while inserting the last pair of the f2l... you'll end up in a 7 COLL cases.. and there are 270 cases in all to solve last layer in cross orientation... advance petrus na un... breakdown kasi ng zbll ung petrus true LL...

PERO... you can do xrcoss agad while finising 2x2x2... apply fridrich algs na for speedsolving...

@ jestoni : tnx po sir.. magaaral ako ng x cross pero cguro ipopostpone ko muna ung pagaaral ng grabehan..focus on cross na lang muna..kc nalinawan na ko dahil dun sa thoughts ni sir jome on x cross..di pa nga cguro advisable na aralin ang x cross..pero tnx din po sir sa info..balang araw babalikan ko yang mga yan..

WTF i now avrg 3 sec on 2x2 block with or w/o pair... i had improved ^_^

do 2x2x3 + 2xcross uder 13 sec.... ave ko palang 15 sec eh. may delays pa na 2 sec, wala ako look ahead kasi sa 2xcrpss... ave un....

hm...di ba ung x cross un ung nasa vid ni kuya jome?...hm...kung di raw kaya wag raw pilitin..^^...
